About this resource
This initiative provides fundamental educational support to individuals aged 16 and above who are out of the public school system, including preparation and testing for the GED, literacy programs, and ESL (English as a Second Language) classes. While there are fees associated with GED testing and some other services, the majority are offered free of charge. Availability of individual tutors may vary and is not guaranteed. The Idaho Professional Technical Education Department oversees the Adult Basic Education Program.
