About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When needed, it offers suitable services to meet family requirements. This program assesses and determines reported cases of child abuse, which may involve evaluating family members and/or the child who has been abused. It assists in obtaining counseling for the victim, parents, the abuser, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services. It is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible.
