This organization provides three key rehabilitation programs: Vocational Rehabilitation, Independent Living, and Sight Restoration. The Vocational Rehabilitation Program equips individuals with the necessary training to secure or maintain employment. The Independent Living program caters to those without vocational goals who face challenges to their independence at home, with family, or in the community. Rehabilitation teachers guide participants in developing essential independent living skills, including cooking, cleaning, self-care, and communication. The Sight Restoration Program addresses multiple medical needs, focusing on blindness prevention and sight restoration for individuals unable to afford necessary medical care. Additional support includes adaptive technology and low vision aids. For those with Medicaid or Medicare, these can cover surgical costs, or a cost-sharing plan may be arranged if they can contribute. Languages offered include English.
