This organization provides three key rehabilitation programs: Vocational Rehabilitation, Independent Living, and Sight Restoration. The Vocational Rehabilitation Program equips individuals with the necessary training to secure or maintain employment. The Independent Living Program is designed for those without a vocational goal who face challenges to their independence at home, within their family, or in the community. Rehabilitation instructors teach essential independent living skills, including cooking, cleaning, self-care, and communication. The Sight Restoration Program addresses various medical needs, focusing on preventing blindness and restoring sight for individuals unable to afford necessary medical care. Additional support is offered through adaptive technology and low vision aids. For those with Medicaid or Medicare, these can be utilized for surgical expenses, or a cost-sharing plan can be arranged if individuals can cover part of the costs.
