This organization provides three distinct rehabilitation programs: Vocational Rehabilitation, Independent Living, and Sight Restoration. The Vocational Rehabilitation Program equips individuals with the necessary training to secure or maintain employment. The Independent Living program is designed for those without specific vocational goals but who face challenges to their independence within their home, family, or community. Rehabilitation teachers assist participants in developing essential independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, self-care, and communication. The Sight Restoration Program addresses various medical needs, focusing on preventing blindness and restoring sight for individuals who lack the financial means for necessary medical care. Additional support includes access to adaptive technology and low vision aids. For those with Medicaid or Medicare, these can be utilized for any required surgeries, and a cost-sharing plan may be arranged if individuals can contribute to the costs.
