About this resource
The Adult Basic Education program caters to individuals aged 16 and above who have left school, as well as graduates seeking to improve their fundamental skills. It is offered at no cost, with most learning materials supplied. The ABE program features an "open entry" and "open exit" structure, enabling students to learn at their own pace while receiving personalized assistance. Instruction is provided in a lab environment, with classes covering fundamental reading, comprehension, spelling, English as a second language, mathematics, and writing skills. The program is conducted in English.
