About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting agricultural, rural, and urban communities by offering various services, programs, and research that contribute significantly to the state's growth. Among the services provided are: 4-H (Youth Education Program), Weed Control Programs, Garden/Landscape Management Programs, limited Family Resource Management, Crops/Horticulture Programs, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Pesticide Applicator Training, limited Food Preservation, Farm Business Management Programs, Intensive Management of Irrigated Pasture, and the Extended Nutrition Program (ENP). The program also focuses on Horizons Community Development and operates in English.
