The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a crucial role in supporting agricultural, rural, and urban communities throughout the state by offering various services, programs, and research essential for development. Some of the available programs include: 4-H (Youth Education Program), Weed Control Programs, Garden and Landscape Management, limited Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Pesticide Applicator Training, limited Food Preservation, Farm Business Management Programs, Intensive Management of Irrigated Pasture, and the Extended Nutrition Program (ENP).
