The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting agricultural, rural, and urban communities across the state by offering various services, programs, and research essential for development. Among the available programs are: 4-H (Youth Education Program), Weed Control Programs, Garden/Landscape Management Programs, limited Family Resource Management, Crops/Horticulture Programs, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Pesticide Applicator Training, limited Food Preservation, Farm Business Management Programs, Intensive Management of Irrigated Pasture, and the Extended Nutrition Program (ENP). The initiative also includes Horizons Community Development, and services are primarily provided in English.
