The services provided by the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, led by Wynette Howard and Mike Breuer, are tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy options such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy are available, along with information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program specifically offers early intervention services to aid families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program focuses on the developmental needs of both the child and family, utilizing multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognitive skills, eating habits, and overall participation in daily family life. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, competency evaluations, placement coordination for the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, and service coordination, as well as community resource development.
