The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, featuring specialists like Wynette Howard and Mike Breuer, aims to address the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The services provided encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, guardianships, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapeutic services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy are offered, along with information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. These early intervention services cater to both the developmental requirements of the child and the family's needs, facilitating the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in helping children develop skills in communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and engagement in daily family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English, with interpreters available as needed.
