Individuals with diabetes can rely on the Saint Alphonsus team, which includes diabetes educators, clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, and physicians, for essential guidance and education to effectively manage their condition. Whether newly diagnosed or living with diabetes for years, our team provides continuous support and a personalized treatment plan tailored to the unique needs of each patient and their family. Our diabetes services are available at our Boise, Idaho medical center and align with the standards set by the American Diabetes Association. Services provided include individual consultations with Certified Diabetes Educators, medication management, nutrition counseling, diabetes education and self-management training, Type 2 diabetes classes, gestational diabetes care, pediatric diabetes care, insulin pump training, continuous blood glucose sensor training, diabetic foot care, and diabetic wound care.
