About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho focuses on serving the agricultural and rural populations of Idaho by offering a variety of services, programs, and research vital for the state's growth. Key offerings include: 4-H programs, weed control initiatives, home economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), garden and landscape management, youth at risk programs, family resource management, crops and horticulture programs, first aid and safety training with a focus on small business operations, money management and household budgeting, life skills development, teen tutoring, pesticide applicator training, food preservation, and latch key programs. Services are provided in English.
