The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a crucial role in supporting Idaho's agricultural and rural communities by offering various services, programs, and research vital for the state's growth. Among the initiatives provided are 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Garden and Landscape Management Programs, Youth at Risk Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, First Aid and Safety Programs focused on small business operations, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, Pesticide Applicator Training, Food Preservation, and the Latch Key Program. Services are available in English.
