The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering various services, programs, and research initiatives that contribute to the state's growth. Available programs include 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Garden and Landscape Management, Youth at Risk Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, First Aid and Safety Programs focused on small business operations, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, Pesticide Applicator Training, Food Preservation, and the Latch Key Program. Services are offered in English.
