The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting Idaho's agricultural and rural communities through various services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. Among the offerings are: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Garden and Landscape Management Programs, Youth at Risk Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, First Aid and Safety Programs focused on small business operations, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, Pesticide Applicator Training, Food Preservation, and the Latch Key Program. Services are available in English.
