LIFE actively supports the philosophy of independent living, emphasizing consumer control over decision-making, service delivery, management, and policy formulation. It fosters self-help and self-advocacy, promotes the development of peer relationships and role models, and ensures equal access for individuals with disabilities to societal services, programs, activities, resources, and facilities. Serving 19 counties in the southeastern region, LIFE, INC. offers various resources designed to help people with disabilities enhance or maintain their independence within their homes, families, and communities. Services are available in both English and Spanish.
