LIFE supports and embodies the philosophy of independent living by emphasizing consumer control over decision-making, service delivery, management, and policy. It encourages self-help and self-advocacy, fosters peer relationships and role models, and ensures equal access for individuals with disabilities to all societal services, programs, activities, resources, and facilities. LIFE, INC. operates across 19 counties in the southeastern region, offering various resources designed to help individuals with disabilities enhance or maintain their independence at home, with family, and within their communities. Services are available in both English and Spanish.
