About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a variety of services, programs, and research crucial for the state's growth. Among the services provided are: 4-H programs, weed control initiatives, home economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), garden and landscape management, youth at risk programs, family resource management, crops and horticulture education, first aid and safety training focused on small business operations, money management and household budgeting, life skills development, teen tutoring, water quality testing, pesticide applicator training, food preservation, and latch key programs. Services are available in English.
