The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a range of services, programs, and research critical for the state's growth. Among the various programs available are 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Garden and Landscape Management, Youth at Risk Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, First Aid and Safety Programs focused on small business operations, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, Water Quality Testing, Pesticide Applicator Training, and Food Preservation, alongside the Latch Key Program. Services are provided in English.
