Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program aims to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through a range of services. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program provides therapeutic services, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services for families with infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to help them achieve their full potential. These early intervention services cater to both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in aiding children to enhance their communication, mobility, cognitive skills, eating habits, and overall participation in daily family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program delivers services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
