Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program aims to address the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Services provided encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapeutic services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy are available, along with information on private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program specifically offers early intervention services for families with infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to help them achieve their fullest potential. These early intervention services are tailored to the developmental needs of the child and the family, facilitating the child's growth. The program is supported by multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in aiding children in communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and engagement in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program extends services to adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination for the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
