Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program aims to cater to the requirements of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It provides a range of services such as evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, it offers therapeutic services, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program delivers early intervention services to aid families in supporting their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) in achieving their fullest potential. These Early Intervention Services address both the developmental needs of the child and the family's needs to foster the child's growth. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program operates with multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in helping children enhance their abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage more fully in their family's daily routines. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
