Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides essential services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianship, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Therapy options include developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, along with information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services for families with infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to help them achieve their fullest potential. Early Intervention Services are designed to address both the developmental needs of the child and the family’s needs to foster the child's growth. The program operates with multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in aiding children to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in daily family activities. Additionally, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
