Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program aims to cater to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It provides a variety of services such as evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, it offers therapeutic services including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to aid families in supporting their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) in reaching their fullest potential. These early intervention services address both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to facilitate the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children enhance their abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
