About this resource
State Hospital North is a 55-bed psychiatric facility dedicated to treating acute, court-committed patients in Idaho. The clinical team conducts evaluations, prescribes medication, offers various therapies, and facilitates community integration, along with recreational and educational activities, as well as discharge planning to help stabilize acute mental health symptoms and prepare individuals for a return to community care. The program is managed by the Division of Behavioral Health, and services are available in English, with interpreters accessible if needed. Intake Procedure: Call.
