The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, and shares information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to help families nurture their infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) in reaching their full potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to facilitate the child's growth. It is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in assisting children with communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and engagement in daily family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, offering services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
