The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides essential services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing resources about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in aiding children in communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and engagement in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program extends its support to individuals with developmental disabilities through services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which is accessible in English and through interpreters when needed. For intake, individuals are encouraged to call for an evaluation.
