About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a crucial role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a variety of services, programs, and research vital for the state's progress. Among the available offerings are: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden/Landscape Management Programs, Youth at Risk Programs, Crops/Horticulture Programs, initiatives focused on starting or managing a small business, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Life Skills, and Pesticide Applicator Training. Most services related to UI Extension Agriculture and Horticulture are provided at no cost, with the exception of soil testing, which incurs shipping and lab fees. Services are available in English.
