About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho supports the agricultural and rural communities throughout Idaho by offering various services, programs, and research vital for the state's growth. Key offerings include: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden/Landscape Management Programs, Youth at Risk Programs, Crops/Horticulture Programs, initiatives focused on starting or managing a small business, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Life Skills, and Pesticide Applicator Training. Most UI Extension Agriculture and Horticulture services are provided at no cost, except for soil testing, which incurs shipping and lab fees. Services are available in English.
