About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in assisting Idaho's agricultural and rural communities through a variety of services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. Offered programs include 4-H, Weed Control Programs, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden/Landscape Management, Youth at Risk Programs, Crops/Horticulture Programs, small business support, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Life Skills, and Pesticide Applicator Training. Most UI Extension Agriculture and Horticulture services are provided at no cost, with the exception of soil testing, which incurs shipping and lab fees. Services are available in English.
