CHIP, or the Children’s Health Insurance Program, offers affordable health coverage for kids under 19 whose families have income levels that exceed Medicaid eligibility. A small monthly premium may apply ($10 or $15 based on income) for each child enrolled in the program. Available languages include English and Spanish.
