Many of these services are delivered through contracts with the Department of Health and Welfare. For the most current information about available services in your area, reach out to your nearest Health District office. The Public Health Preparedness and Communication Systems office (Bioterrorism Planning) collaborates with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, other public health districts, healthcare providers, and emergency responders to create a unified statewide strategy for preparing and responding to bioterrorism threats and other public health crises.
