Idaho Educational Services For Deaf & Blind - State Adminstration

The IESDB delivers a range of educational services for children from birth to 26 years old in Idaho who experience substantial hearing or vision challenges. It runs the Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind (ISDB), which provides preK-12 education and includes a residential option. Additionally, the IESDB offers access to Certified Specialized Teachers through its Outreach Program, which assists infants and their families with in-home services and supports school-aged children, educational institutions, and other organizations across the state to foster independence through tailored education and accommodations. The program also provides vision and hearing consultations and referrals for children aged 0-21, with services available in English, Sign Language, and Spanish. Intake is initiated through a referral from the Local Education Agency (LEA).
