About this resource
The IESDB delivers a range of educational services for children from birth to 26 years old in Idaho who experience considerable hearing or vision challenges. It runs a preK-12 school, known as the Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind (ISDB), which includes a residential option. Additionally, the IESDB provides access to Certified Specialized Teachers through its Outreach Program, which supports infants and their families with in-home services and assists school-aged children, schools, and other organizations across the state in fostering independence through tailored education and accommodations. The program also offers vision and hearing consultations and referrals for children aged 0-21, with services available in English, Sign Language, and Spanish.
