About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program reviews and assesses reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When needed, it offers suitable services to meet family requirements. This Program evaluates reported cases of child abuse, which may involve assessing family members and/or the child who has been abused. It assists in obtaining counseling for the victim, parents, the abuser, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the Program is responsible for licensing child care facilities, foster homes, and offering some adoption services. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Children and Family Services Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
