The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianships, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapeutic services, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), helping families foster their children's growth and development. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in assisting children with communication, movement, cognitive skills, nutrition, and engagement in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment evaluations, placement coordination for the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English and provides access to interpreters as needed. Intake is initiated by calling for an evaluation.
