Jefferson County Extension Service

The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting Idaho's agricultural and rural communities through various services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. The offerings include 4-H, weed control initiatives, health and wellness programs, food safety, garden and landscape management, insect and spider identification, family resource management, crops and horticulture education, first aid and safety training focused on small business operations, money management and household budgeting, life skills development, pesticide applicator training, food preservation techniques, rural development, livestock management, and computer literacy. Additionally, fair management programs are available. Services are provided in English.
