About this resource
CASA/GAL is a program that appoints advocates through the court system to support trained volunteers for children who have faced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Our goal is to represent the best interests of these vulnerable children. A Guardian ad Litem (GAL) is a volunteer selected by the court to advocate for an abused or neglected child's welfare. In legal settings, the GAL acts as a crucial voice for the child. Guardians ad Litem are also known as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Languages offered: English.
Intake Process: Via telephone and court appointment.
