Abuse Recovery Ministry & Services
Community Resource
About this resource
ARMS provides a series of free classes aimed at assisting women in their recovery from domestic violence and abuse. Participants can join at any time, and although there are 15 lessons in total, women are welcome to attend as long as they find the program beneficial. The classes occur weekly in a secure and supportive setting, where attendees can seek guidance on their lives in accordance with God's will. Participants will gain insight into various forms of abuse and understand God's perspective on these matters. Topics addressed include denial, anger, depression, loneliness, and decision-making, among others. Sessions are conducted in multiple confidential locations, and for safety reasons, specific details about locations and times are not provided on the website. Interested individuals should call for more information. Classes are available in English, with limited offerings in Spanish and Russian.
