The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program addresses both the developmental needs of the child and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. It operates with multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognitive abilities, eating habits, and participation in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, offering court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which is accessible in English, with interpreters available as needed.
