Family Directed Services - Region 1

The redesigned system aims to provide a variety of benefits that cater to the needs of children with developmental disabilities, supported collaboratively by the state, provider community, and families. Benefits are accessible through two 'Pathways': the 'Traditional Pathway' focuses on a balanced benefit package that encourages skill development using evidence-based treatment methods and natural community integration. Alternatively, families have the option to 'self-direct services' for their child through the 'Family-Directed Pathway'.
