Rehabilitation Services include medical support when necessary, vocational counseling and guidance, training for both vocational and academic purposes (covering books, tuition, equipment, and supplies), home instruction in alternative techniques, help with starting a small business, and job placement along with follow-up to ensure successful employment. Additionally, independent living services are provided. Orientation and adjustment services encompass assistance with adapting to blindness, travel instruction, Braille and keyboard skills, daily living techniques, homemaking skills, and industrial arts such as woodworking. Other services offered include employment services, sight restoration, a business enterprise program, resources for seniors, radio reading services, recording services, and a talking book program.
