The main goal of CPA is to provide spay/neuter services for both cats and dogs. In California, the organization also helps to find permanent homes for a select number of stray and abandoned animals through its adoption program. As a non-profit entity, CPA relies entirely on unpaid volunteers, ensuring that all donations are directed towards assisting local animals. The organization generates funding through individual contributions and the sale of various products. CPA operates branches in Idaho, as well as in Ventura County, Palmdale, and Porterville in California.
