The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass referrals, information dissemination, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program shares information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to help families support infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) in achieving their fullest potential. These early intervention services address both the child's developmental needs and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in aiding children in learning to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage more fully in their family's daily routines. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program is overseen by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
