About this resource

The organization provides a Thrift Store, Nutrition Education, Tutoring, and Emergency Assistance, with the Thrift Store operating from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Food Bank and Clothes Closet follow the same hours. Emergency Assistance is available on Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to noon. Participants in the Hope at Work program are employed full-time at the thrift store and engage in various program components: BUDGET COACHING offers personalized sessions to develop tailored budgets and money management systems, with the HOPE Center matching savings for essential financial needs. CASE MANAGEMENT includes individual meetings focused on personal objectives, resume and cover letter guidance, and assessments to identify strengths. CELEBRATE RECOVERY is a faith-based 12-step program addressing various personal challenges such as anger, anxiety, and addiction. SUPPORT COACHES provide weekly mentorship meetings to help with personal goals. EMPLOYMENT TRAINING allows participants to work full-time at the HOPE Center Thrift Store while gaining experience and certifications to enhance their resumes. SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION includes GED tutoring with one-on-one support. Languages offered include English.
