The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program includes therapeutic services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), assisting families in fostering their children's development to achieve their full potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in aiding children in communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and engagement in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, offering services like court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, and services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
