The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention for infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months), helping families support their child's development to achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in aiding children in learning to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program delivers services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination at the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which offers services in English, with interpreters available upon request.
