The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting Idaho's agricultural and rural communities by offering a variety of services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. Some of the initiatives include 4-H, weed control programs, crops and horticulture programs, small business development, money management, ranch budgeting, farm management, pesticide applicator training, programs for families and youth at risk, as well as food safety and nutrition initiatives.
