The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural communities throughout the state by offering a variety of services, programs, and research initiatives crucial for development. Key offerings include: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Garden and Landscape Management Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, Farm Financial Management, initiatives focused on launching or managing small businesses, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills training, Teen Tutoring, and Pesticide Applicator Training.
